But Wait, There's More

I was premature in publishing my previous post. A Schwarzenegger win would be an indication of something worse than stupidity on the part of California voters. A vote for Arnold is a vote in favor of bigotry and sexism.

Many Americans yearn for the days when women who were groped against their will had to take it and shut up. There was a time when a racist remark on television wouldn't merit a pink slip. Ah, the good old days.

We should not let closet bigots off the hook and we should not be in denial about their existence. Life is hard for those who favor white, male supremacy. Schwarzenegger gives them hope and they can vote for him in secret. No one will know that they fantasize about getting away with grabbing a woman's breast or putting a hand up an unwilling skirt. What hapless, harried guy wouldn't want to be ". . .like Hitler in the Nuremberg stadium. And have all those people scream at you and just being total agreement whatever you say." It must also be pointed out who is defending Adolf, sorry, Arnold, among the press and punditry. So much for liberal bias in the media.

A Schwarzenegger win should be a wake up call for all Americans. But then again, 9/11 was supposed to be a wake up call. Forget what I just said. America is a nation of Rip Van Winkles. Too many of us are catching z's and not paying attention to anything important.

Start praying.
